John has held pivotal roles as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), where he has been instrumental in business development, strategic consulting, and the execution of digital transformation programs. He has a proven track record in creating new international ICT organisations and managing large project and program teams.
In addition to his corporate roles, John is an entrepreneur at heart. He has founded and co-founded tech companies across various industries, both startups and established. His passion for technology extends to mentoring, where he shares his knowledge and experience to help these companies thrive.
John’s leadership roles include Global CIO, Regional CIO, and senior IT Leader for some of the most renowned brands operating in Australia, including Rio Tinto, BHP, Roche Pharma, Linfox, and Toll Group. His extensive experience has enabled him to provide valuable advice and direction to a range of industries, covering the tech landscape from startups to major enterprise solutions.
